Erika Shick

Owner/Trainer

Erika Shick has been a  softball instructor for over 7 years and is owner of E-Line Softball Training. Girls that come to Erika include a wide age variety ranging all the way up to college athletes. Erika has a primary focus of all levels of pitching and hitting.  Erika has a true passion for the sport and each of the girls she works with. Her goal is to pass on everything this game has taught her on and off the field which inspired her to establish E-Line Softball Training.

High School
Alonso High School

As a Junior, she was named co-captain and was awarded team MVP.  She led her team in the circle and at the plate to the first postseason appearance in school history. She was awarded honors of all conference, all county, all Suncoast and all state –as well as Tampa Tribune’s Parade of Athletes.

As a Senior, she was named co-captain and was awarded team co-MVP. She helped lead the team to a consecutive postseason appearance while continuing to be the top pitcher for the team . She was again awarded honors of all conference, all county, all Suncoast and all state and the Tampa Tribune Parade of Athletes.

She also cheered on the varsity cheerleading squad all four years of high school.

College
University of Tampa

As a Freshman, she batted in the walk-off winning run in first appearance against Conference rival – Florida Tech. Appeared mostly as a Designated Hitter and helped the Spartans reach postseason play to the NCAA Division 2 Southern Regional Tournament.

State College of Florida

As a sophomore, she appeared as a pitcher, midfielder and outfielder plated a key role in the Manatees reaching postseason play while also landing the NJCAA Exemplary Academic Achievement award.

Warner University 

Her junior started as the shortstop and top pitcher while leading the team in Slugging %, Home Runs, Doubles and Triples, second in Batting Average

University of South Florida - as a senior- majored in Elementary Education and graduated with honors (3.78 GPA).

Professional

In 2019 she played and coached professionally in Austria serving as one of their top pitchers as well as playing significant time at shortstop, outfield, and occasionally second base.

Brooke Norfleet

Trainer

Brooke began helping with summer camps in 2022 and became a big help around E-Line. She has been in training for a year and is more than ready to begin training. She will primarily focus on beginner to intermediate hitting, fielding, and catching. She is finishing her degree in Psychology and looks to add even more the mental side of the game to E-Line as well as her desire to work with kids.

Travel Ball
Lady Hawks- Gallhouse

Brooke Norfleet played travel ball mostly for  The Lady Hawks-Galhouse and she credits them for being the most influential on her softball development.

While on the Lady Hawks, she was a utility player that was primarily middle infielder and outfielder. At the plate she appeared as a lefty-slapper and as a switch hitter. She was a key contributor to their 2020 USSSA World Series title.

High School
Tarpon Springs High School

Brooke played four years for Tarpon Springs High School’s Varsity Softball team, where she served as a catcher and utility player. She led her team with a .969 fielding percentage with 52 games played. Her senior year she was awarded MVP as well as the Coaches award. She was honored to take on the role as a co-captain and lead her team to regionals. Additionally she was awarded Pinellas County Athletic Conference Second Team honors.

College
Florida Memorial University

As a freshman, Norfleet contributed to Florida Memorial University’s inaugural season. There, she primarily took the role as a slapper, outfielder, and utility player.

Pasco-Hernando State College

She transferred to Pasco-Hernando State College for her sophomore year where she continued to play multiple roles which include, slapper, 2B, OF, C.

Allison Carroll

Trainer

Allison has been coaching for over 4 years with all of them under Erika/E-Line. She was a big part of the start E-Line Softball Training and has now become an established face of the brand. She trains athletes up and through the college level and has a primary focus of all levels hitting, fielding, catching, and beginner to intermediate pitchers. Alli’s love of kids and passion for the game got her into this career and has made her into the coach she is today.

 

Travel Ball
Tampa Mustangs-Boynton

Played as a utility player but primarily played 1B. In 2014 the team was declared Florida ASA champions and ASA National champions, earning a bid to the 2015 ASA National Championship tournament where the team was first runner-up.

High school
Alonso High School

Allison was a four year varsity player. She played first base, catcher, and outfield.

As a junior, she helped lead the team to their first ever District Title against rival Bloomingdale High school in an 11-inning game.

As a senior, Carroll was a co-captain alongside two other seniors.

College
Hillsborough community college

A two year starter at both first base and center field. They earned 2nd place at Team All-Conference and she was team MVP as a sophomore.

Florida Southern College - she transferred to FSC as a junior and was a utility player on the softball team. Here she studied Elementary Education which has translated into her coaching.

Denali Schappacher

Trainer

Denali began her coaching journey after a successful collegiate softball career, bringing her experience and passion for athlete development to the next generation. She has worked with athletes across multiple disciplines, focusing on primarily slapping, outfield defense, and hitting. Her dedication to helping young athletes grow both on and off the field led her to E-Line, where she continues to inspire through coaching.

High School
Lakewood Ranch High School

Denali was a four-year varsity starter at Lakewood Ranch High School in Bradenton, Florida. She earned multiple All-State and All-Area honors and helped lead her team to national recognition. Known for her speed and consistency, she was a key contributor in both offense and defense. Her performance earned her a scholarship to play Division I softball at the University of Central Florida.

College
University of Central Florida (UCF)

At UCF, Denali made an immediate impact as a freshman, leading the team in batting average, hits, and stolen bases. Over her career, she earned American Athletic Conference First-Team and All-Rookie Team honors. She became one of only ten players in UCF history to reach 200 career hits and still remains in the top 10 All-Time Leaderboard in multiple categories. As a captain in her fifth year she helped lead her team to hosting the first ever NCAA Regional in 2022. Denali majored in a health-related field and transitioned into athletic training after graduation. She now serves as a Staff Athletic Trainer for Saint Petersburg College, combining her academic background and athletic experience to support collegiate athletes.

Brielle Bostow

Trainer

Brielle is E-Line’s first “homegrown” trainer. She has been coming to Coach Erika since she was 12 years old, and continues to get lessons with her even in college. She began training in 2022 and primarily focuses on beginner to advanced pitching and beginner hitting and fielding. She is pursuing a degree in nursing and translates her aspiration for helping people into her lessons and athletes

Tampa Mustangs- Neptune

Brielle played with the Tampa Mustangs for 6 years. In 2020 her team placed in the top 5 at Nationals.

High School
East Lake High School

Brielle played 2 years of varsity softball at East Lake High School where they won districts and PCAC both years. 

College
State College of Florida

Brielle is currently a starting pitcher at State College of Florida. As a freshman she made 2nd team All-Conference compiling 101 innings pitched, leading the team in strikeouts and era, and pitching in 27 games (22 starts).

Christina Linton

Trainer

Tina has been coaching in total for over 6 years. She coached for 3 years as an assistant coach at Hudson High School and is now working on year 4 at E-Line. Tina decided to make a career change in 2020 from teaching and found the perfect career for her training athletes at E-Line and has become one of the lead trainers. Tina coaches athletes up through the college level. Her primary focuses are hitting, fielding, and catching at all levels. Her attention to detail and technology skills has been a big addition to E-Line and also makes her an excellent coach

 

Travel Ball
Team FLA & Lady Bombers Gold Team-Estes

Tina played for Team FLA as a catcher and utility player for several years. During her time playing travel ball, she played for the Lady Bombers Gold Team-Estes and was a starting outfielder as well as a power hitter for them.

High School
Sickles High School

Tina played varsity softball for all four years of high school. She played outfield and was a three-time all Hillsborough County award winner, hitting .393 as a sophomore, .450 as a junior, and .400 as a senior. She was also a two time All-Conference winner.

College
State College of Florida

Tina went to State College of Florida for her first two years of college and earned First Team All-Conference, hitting a .336 and named NJCAA player to watch. She helped the Manatees reach the postseason both seasons and win the Suncoast Conference her sophomore year with a record of 26-17 overall.

Newberry College

Junior year she went to Newberry where she started all 50 games and earned second team All-SAC. She was named Astroturf South Atlantic Conference player of the week (2/16/16).  Senior year, she started 45 games and earned second team All-SAC batting .338, with 23 RBI's and 29 runs scored.

 

Mia Baldi

Trainer

Mia started doing private lessons in 2016 as a Junior Pitching Coach at Premier Fastpitch Academy in Atlanta. Mia has evaluated athletes of all ages to help reach their softball goals. Mia’s love of pitching and passion to see young athletes grow in all aspects of live has brought her to E-Line to coach.

High School
Kell High School

Mia was a four year starter for her high school where she complied 37 wins, a 1.63 ERA, and 489 strikeouts in 330 innings. She made the 1st Team All-Region three times and was also given the Regional Pitcher of the Year award. Her senior year she took her team to States. She was the number one pitcher on her Atlanta Vipers travel ball team. Her pitching performance as well as her academic success earned her a scholarship to play at Valdosta State University.

College
Valdosta State University

While at Valdosta, she compiled a 7-2 record with a 2.31 ERA in her two seasons. She was named conference pitcher of the week and finished top 7 in the conference for ERA as a sophomore. She also made the Deans List several times in her time at Valdosta. She majored in Organizational Leadership which translates into her ability to coach and analyze athletes.
